In this second series, Iron Man 2 will get some improvements. The biggest changes are in control. SEGA create a more consistent control of movement in the air and ground. And gamer can also enable or disable the ability to fly by pressing the Left Shoulder Button and Right Shoulder Button to lock-on mode.

Gamer will also have a weapon in his right shoulder and left, which is operated by pressing the left or right trigger. B button is used to perform contextual actions, such as hitting behind enemy missiles.

There is radar in the bottom right of the screen to detect the enemy during the battle. In addition to playing as Iron Man, gamer can play as War Machine, the characters are similar to the Iron Man with black armor.
