This game storyline begins with the rise of Vito Scaletta, son of Sicilian immigrants who join a Crime Family. Vito returned home after World War II ended. To avoid a prison sentence because it involved a robbery, he joined the army, USA. Then he met with his old friend, Joe Barbaro, and planned actions of new crimes.This game takes time in 1940s and 1950s and is located at the Empire City, which is fiction, is a combination between the city of New York and San Francisco. This game also has a feature similar to the game Grand Theft Auto 4.
